Apple Picking in Warwick, New York (Masker Orchard)

Since I was young, I have been dreaming about seeing an apple tree with lots of fruits overflowing in it. And now, it just came true.  It is another box ticked off in my list! Great!

One of the “must-do” things to do during autumn is apple picking. Fortunately, NY has many apple orchards. It is my first time to experience autumn and I feel like I need to do this activity. So we searched for the 5 starred apple orchard in upstate NY and we found Masker Orchard.

Karen D in the house!

The weather was cloudy with cold winds gently blowing and the sun was peeping from time to time. It was a perfect day to pick apples. Masker Orchard is a 200-acre farmland which has (from our experience) two kinds of apple –  red and green. hahaha ( I don’t know exactly what name they have for each species. For me, it is just green and red.) Also, they sell some apple goodies like apple cider donuts, apple pie, apple ciders, and stuff that can be possibly apple flavored. hahaha!  They also sell pumpkins. We did not bother to buy pumpkins but we did take a lot of pictures with it!

Hartney loves pumpkin so much!

I think a half day is enough for apple picking unless you just wanna stay there for a picnic with your family. One full bag of apples will cost you $30. So you got to maximize the space but if you have just half of the bag then you will just pay according to weight.

Apples just made Anne the happiest girl in the world!

Overall it was a memorable experience and what makes it special is because it was with cool friends who share the same passion with selfies and love posing in front of the camera!

Here is a raw video summing up our wonderful and memorable experience doing the apple picking!

Saba and Mt. Scenery

These are my shots using Iphone SE. 🙂

Beautiful view of the Bottom. I believe Saba’s university is somewhere in that structures.
Saba has a lot of chruches. What makes it beautiful is the simplicity of the design and not to mention that is at the foot of the mountain where it literally touches the clouds.
At the front of the church is a centuries old cemetery.
Saba has a lot of flora and fauna. This is a fern? not really sure
Cute white flower. For ID.
Yellow is the color of joy. These cutesy will greet you on your trail to Saba’s Mt. Scenery
Another white flowers!
Violet little flowers
Which way to go? Can’t decide
Amazing Saba!
